Billboard Elegant by BaseTemplates is your go to deck when creating a TED style keynote presentation. It is the sister deck to Billboard Bold and has a couple of distinctive design swaps.
It was created after assessing over 1,000 TED Talks and other conference style events and the demands of those kinds of events.
This has resulted in over 100 slides made up of a strong, simple message. This is delivered in a powerful way that allows the speaker to be the true focus and the slides as the supporting asset. The human aspect is pushed to the forefront, powerfully.
The default colour mode is a sophisticated icy blue to purple gradient. Nothing too outlandish, just a cool, frosty effect. Billboard Bold is supplied with light and dark modes.
The typography is as clean as possible. The font is a narrow and thin sans serif. Where other decks claim to be minimalistic, this is the true definition. Nothing extraneous is left on the slide. You will need some strong imagery to backup the strong typography. Alternatively, you can add supporting design elements without needing to amend many design elements. You won’t fit a huge amount of words on these slides, so legibility will be fine straight from the box. It forces concise messaging.
There are no page folios, no suggested branding lock-ups apart from the front and back slides. Yes, these can be added easily, but the focus of this deck is the speaker and one key message per slide.
Data slides cover most key options and can easily be adapted for simple comparisons that emphasise your conversations.
Infographics have a simplicity that makes them as clear as possible and as adaptable as a designer requires. There will only be adding custom elements to consider. No time will be wasted deleted unwanted elements.
The icon set is a distinctive, albeit limited selection. A more expansive set of over 300+ items is available from the team.
Three devices are included which are flat monochrome outlines. This means they won’t go out of date with every product refresh. Very useful!
Handily, the deck is supplied in both PowerPoint and Keynote versions.
This is a fantastic deck for both public speakers and as a base level deck for many more internal presentation events.
