Shinning – Creative Powerpoint by Incools Stokie is a pleasant, vanilla presentation deck suitable for spacious content layouts.

It’s designed for modern, contemporary users with its stripped back black and white design.

The fonts – PT Sans and Open Sans – are reliable Google Fonts that get a lot of use in recent years.

The typography is spacious in the headlines, the body copy is discrete. Probably too discrete for practical use.

There are no page folios on this deck, but plenty of space to add them and a company logo.

Photographic elements are generously proportioned without distractions. There is an expectation to have a lot of visual components in these layouts.

The infographics sections have a greyscale version of assets that are available elsewhere. Generally though, they are too specific to be useful outside of these preview slides. Practical data slides such as tables and Excel editable charts are scant.

With over 90 slides in two format dimensions, Shinning is worth taking a few moments to assess in your hunt for a solid presentation backbone. It’s not perfect or totally comprehensive, but it doesn’t stumble too much either.
